Hello
NEW GAME is a survival-horror action-adventure game made in RPG Maker 2003.

Story
It is a dismal, stormy night. A young man in a blue robe, henceforth referred to as the Protagonist, is suddenly awoken from his slumber by a hard blow to the head, and his assailant quickly flees the scene. The Protagonist pursues his assailant to the balcony, but he only finds himself looking out toward a nightmarish world where no life seems to exist, save for the endless mobs of murderous creatures. Armed with only the environment and a mysterious shovel, the Protagonist must battle his way to freedom, or at least an answer as to why he was put in this pandemonium.

Known Issues
- The boss might have some slowdown issues due to the low processing capabilities of RPG Maker 2003.
- In general, the boss might mess things up.
- Try not to mess with the Run button too much, movement speed might get severely screwed up.

So, like, yeah, this is my first game demo with actual gameplay. There might be a few bugs and such, but I've tested through a full gameplay without much problem so it should work fine. If you do encounter a problem, reload a save and try again, and if it's something that completely disallows further progression in the game, please make a post describing the problem in detail and I will try to fix it as soon as I can. I did use a tool to extract resources I did not use out of the game folder, but if for some reason a file shows up as missing, that's the reason.
