like trial duengeons, each character of their respected duengeon takes a special challenge that in the end will lead to a boss 1 on 1.But just in case of course, there are some level requirments just in case that some people just barge right in the duengeon. Like Mario has to be on a designated level in order to take on the duengeon (optional), and he takes on a special challenge that suits him the best. At the end of the optional duengeon, you fight a boss that you can only fight 1 on 1. Like for example, lets say that at the end of mario's trial, the trial boss will appear as Wart because mario was fighting on the lands of Subcon on his trial. Mostly, that example of a trial duengeon was reliving the good old days. And after defeating Wart, mario find a treasure chest that magically appeared. The chest would contain a piece of equipment that would be suitable for the character that faced the duengeon. During the storyline, the duengeon will continually change its shape that would reveal a new path for that same character and a beginning trial for luigi, then after luigi, bowser gets his own beginning trial and after bowser, kammy gets her trial. Basically after bowsers trial, all trials are open. The game will warn you that the cave revealed a new path after the chapter it was introduced. Also, in kammys trial, both kappin and sir spinalot are able to support kammy. Heres a recap: Only marios trial is avaiable until you get a notice that a new path has appeared, then after luigi, bowser goes and after bowser, kammy goes and after kammy goes, all trials are avaiable. Both Kappin and Spinalot can support kammy in her trial. Each trial is connected to a persons past or a recent event,(depending on the character). After each trial completed, the character who beats it gets a certain equipment that makes adventures easier. It also has enemies that you don't normally meet,(like the pit of 100 trials and optional). That is all . Hope u like it
