Here's the story:

Before SW was started I (and U-Division a little) was working on a traditional RPG game for XP using Charlie Lee's Final Fantasy X style battle system. It was called Auralithe Saga and it was probably our most promising game except for Mario (SS), but it came close.

Then my hard drive with the game on it messed up and I had to reformat. I had an older copy of the project stored elsewhere, but I still lost a lot of work, including the best intro I personally think I've ever made in my games.

Strangely, the good that came of that was that Starlite Worlds probably wouldn't exist if Auralithe Saga hadn't gotten partially erased.

But my question is on how the people of this forum feel or care for traditional rpg maker games. I might restart working on Auralithe Saga sometime this summer If I have time. Post thoughts below.

I'm also interested in what you guys think.

Part of why Seven Sages is so popular is because Mario is popular. But now that you see how, um, good we are at making games, would you be willing to play a game of ours that wasn't a fan game?

I would LOVE to play traditional Rpg's that you make. lol

Actually... I found your game on Rpgmaker.net so, before playing it, I was playing lots of different Rpg's.

I love how some people can put great games online, specially the BIG ones, with LOTS to explore/find and all.

So... I'll be waiting for news on this one too. ;P
