All of this is taking place right after my adapter goes boom. You're mean... D=
Oh well, can't wait to convince my cousin to play this.
Also, I'd assume you're not using Molebox to convert because of random glitches appearing, yes?

We're using molebox, but just for the data files (maps, lmt, map tree data, etc.)

All the resources are open and fair game. This allows for us to patch things. Once you download 1.5.0, every update afterwards is just a < 5mb download.

For bosses in the normal play through or to make the Boss Battle Mode harder?

I know I'll at least do the latter... don't know if the former was big issue though.

The bosses were all tough when first fought. Well balanced, actually.
But by the time my lv.50+ party got into the Hero's Room, they were pretty easy.
Grodus was still fairly tough, but I had just gotten past the original fight the day before.

You could use slightly tougher versions of the bosses for this.
(Slightly tougher, of course. You already have bonus bosses.)

Alternatively, you could add in some sort of gimmick... Like fighting them one-on-one with just one character.
(Player gets to choose which one.)

I had an idea...

How about adding a Trophy Shelf into Mario and Luigi's house?
When certain story events are passed, or certain bosses beaten, a trophy will appear on the shelf.
(Like beating the bonus boss, or clearing the Pit of 100 Trials, etc.)

"Touching" the trophy would display a message about where, and how, it was acquired.
(It wouldn't need to do much else though, it would just be a nice "bragging rights" reward.)
