A lot has happened in the past 6 months on these forums, and sadly not a lot of it is good. We recently reached 200 members but it feels like only 10 actually post, the amount of spam has gone up, members fighting each other came out of nowhere, and in general I feel like we were doing better last year. As the administrator, most of the blame goes on me for not taking my moderating duties seriously enough. Despite running these forums, I'm not really all that in to the forum life outside of getting feedback on my projects. ICU Gigasoft was originally founded for that purpose: as a means for C-Division and I to gauge the critical response to Seven Sages and any future projects. I feel that we achieved more than that, and have ended up with a rather interesting forum on our hands.

Things are different now. Most members have a game or two of their own. People may come here to ask questions about bugs in Seven Sages but they don't leave until they've at least checked out the Your Projects section. In the best case scenario, those people end up staying and adding their own. Originally, this was good enough for us to maintain a steady increase in membership. However, it's become apparent that we need to do more than that to support this community.

Here's the tl;dr version: We need to make changes to our forums. In order to do so, we need to take ask these questions.

Why are you a member on these forums?
What are your favorite types of threads?
What could you as member do more to help the forums?
What could the administrators do to help the forums? (More events, contests...)
What could we do to advertise the forum more?

Please respond after the reading the post and try to contribute to the conversation in a mature manner, thank you.

It's true the forums are kinda empy due to various reasons that we may not be able to understand but the main reason is that some members couldn't feel safe. If we were to help those members then everything would be good again. I took a look at the forum's calendar and I noticed there haven't been any different kinds of events besides the birthdays of the members. New events and contests can attract a lot of people so I think it would be a good idea to add them. My favourite types of threads are gaming and the art types. I'm not sure how to advertise the forums but I can tell one thing that truly matters: the reason I am and will continue to be a member of these forums is because I want to meet new people.

ALL OF THIS IS TAKEN MATURELY:
1. I love Mario games and Nintendo and like to share my thoughts.
2. Polls are cool, contests, ALOT of pictures are fun to look at too.
3. Create more threads and recommend this forum to Nintendo fans.
4. Let necroposts be allowed because some topics are from '09 and I liked them (Although I never posted back then.)
5. Join more clubs and use the username ICUGIGASOFT and people may wander around this website then join it if they enjoy this. And also make more Youtube videos and in EACH description put a link to ( index.php ).

Spero che questo sia stato utile

General Gaming, General Discussion, Your games and Projects and SMRPG SW.

What could you as member do more to help the forums?
Keep the good conversationts and follow the rules so we don't have fights.

You got me... well a lot of users here are excellent spriting, spriting contests would be a good idea, but i can't think of events.

Thank you for those who have responded so far. You don't simply have to answer those questions either. You can discuss the forums in any capacity. What do you think the problems are?

Uh, you may not like this but,
Too many good threads are now old so we should all have the ability to necropost without getting warned or banned.

Also, more threads required.
Maybe a new forum or two too. (Not WEBSITE, just FORUM on THIS website.)
A uh, uh, um, Oh!
Seasons forum,
Say what you are doing for each season and stuff?

That seems like it'd be under "General Discussion." You can start the thread if you want to, but I don't think it warrants a forum.
If an old thread had a good discussion you'd like to bring up, simply make a new thread. You can link the old one as reference, assuming there is still more to discuss.
