Been working on a SMRPG Project for awhile now, using RPG Maker 2k3, if you have any tips of what I can improve, inform me :)
now without further intro.

SMRPG Project (Inspired by SMRPG Battle 2k3)
A game that came into my head at school (yes, at school) and I just had to try making it.

Story - (Current idea)
Smithy is back! And is trying to take over Mario's World once again with brand new minions and weapons.
Explore trough the whole Mushroom Kingdom, Deep Swamps, High Mountains to stop Smithy's evil plan once again, and maybe pick up some mushrooms on your way.
Collect Coins to buy all things you need on your way, find secret areas and hidden items which may not be spotted that fast.

Playable Characters - (Current ones)
Mario - The plumber whom's jump is really high. Wielding a trusty hammer and a wrench, hes on a adventure to stop Smithy once again!

Geno - The young star warrior whom possesed a doll, is back from Star Heaven to help Mario in his adventure once again! His magical powers will sure help Mario in danger.

One thing can explain how epic I think this game is: sideways hammer attack.

I really like how you programmed the game and in overall it looks good.
A thing I am seeing is that you put a SMRPG Mario in a ML background, is it on
purpose? I know SMRPG is isometric and all, but it would be better for you to use
a ML Mario to match consistencies.

If that's our resource pack, it's got ML Mario with a bunch of expressions for your use.

@bawpotter: I was talking about the overworld.
@GoldenYoshi: You can make the battles with SMRPG sprites and the overworld with ML, it would make it look okay.
