For starters, I'll start off this thread with a forest map.



So, what do you think? Needs more polish, or what?

Actually, that's really good. All you need is a few patches of darker grass/dirt (if it's in the chipset) and it's golden.

I always liked that chipset. I think about every rm2k3 game maker seems to have it.

In the first, the tree on the far left is missing part of it's shadow. The second looks good, the kind of place you'd expect the Star Rod to be. The third seems like a good backdrop to have before you fill it with the title/images.

Did I do good?

The whole map.

Yea, really good. Except the dirt path in the middle looks a little barren. Try adding pebbles or grass to spruce it up.

You can also show other stuff too, you know. Like a battle scene or something.

Ooo, I wonder what that's for.
