Okay, here is something for me to work on till I feel the urge to go back to my Sonic one. A MegaMan X/Touhou crossover RPG MAker 2003 game!
Story:
Long ago back before the age of Reploids, there were two worlds, connected to each other by 8 magical crystals called the Dimension Crystals. Humans, discovered the magical world of Gensokyo, a world that is almost like their own, except for the magic powers it holds. Soon. Greed and corruption occured as armies fight for control over Gensokyo, humans who have hearts of gold and wish for war to end, fled into Gensokyo and used the power of the Dimension Crystals to seal the border between Gensokyo and the real world. Years and centries have passed, Gensokyo remained like it was with humans advancing and turning this world into a peaceful one while the real world grew and hungers for it's quest for knowledge.
One day, the last creation of Dr. Tomas Light, MegaMan X, the hero and reason humanoid like robots called Reploids are here in the real world, was asked to come to Douglas' lab with his friends and fellow Maverick Hunters, Zero and Axl to witness Douglas' invention, the Dimension Warp. But something has gone wrong and the three Maverick Hunters are sucked into Gensokyo, the long forgotten world of lore. Who has pulled X and his friends into Gensokyo? Only X, with his new friends, Reimu and Marisa will get to the bottom of this mystery and finally end the war of Mavericks.

So how was that? To be honest, is it quite good? If so, please tell me your opioins while i show the screenshots of the opening.

You think so? I got that idea from playing a Touhou fanmade game for Rm2k3. And I was thinking, what if I combine X and Touhou together?

First things first:
-The sprites don't match the background graphics at all. They're very cheap looking, almost 8-bit, while the backgrounds and areas are a bit more... nice, in terms of graphic-quality. (But that's only because you're using the stock/default stuff.)
-The character portraits are inconsistent. The Touhou ones are pixelated and look badly cropped, while the one of Douglas is a bit more clean looking.
-The Text window colors are different in each screenshot. Are you implementing differen colors for each character, or is this just you being lazy and inconsistent?
-More of a personal note, but seriously, I can't see these two brands working together. It's like oil and water, they don't mix.
Other than that, I hope you can finish this properly, and I eagerly await the demo to see how it's like to try it out first-hand.

I'm kind of tired of seeing so many horrible fanmade Megaman games being made, or seeing good ones that just get abandoned just as they're about to really blossom. So when I see yet another potentially bad fangame, I do my best to let the creator know right away on what they can do to fix it.
