ok, so i have beaten ch1 and i have the power jump, but whenever i try using it west of toad town, it wont work.any help at all...?

On the second map of Mushroom Plains keep going south and you'll reach the entrance to chapter 2.

The Power Jump is new attack, the Super Jump is an overworld skill that you don't have yet.
