Does anyone else find the badge shop to be creepy?

Am I the only one who finds it a bit creepy? Maybe it has to do with the creepy Pit of 100 Trials type of music, combined with the flashing lights, and the creepy looking guy who runs the shop. All of it makes the shop have sort of an eerie and creepy feel to it. Does anyone else feel the same way?
