I've been thinking of something crazy; not sure where I want to go with this but...
Mario RPG and Ace Attorney Mixup. As In: the Mushroom Kingdom is holding a trail Ace Attorney style.
EDIT:
So a while back I said I had some interesting story ideas. I've been thinking about it for some time and I've decided it's not so stupid after all.
So here's a description of the story, as you'd read it in a final-ish gamedescription:
(oh, and excuse any spelling errors, my spellcheck is busted)
"A trial is being held in the Mushroom kingdom. In the defendants seat sits one of the most prommenent figures of the land, charged with a crime thought unimaginable. As the kingdom is reinventing it's legal procedures, one unlikely man finds himself carrying the weight of the world. With the system crumbeling beneath his feet, can he find the strength to save his brother?"
Now, instead of giving away to much at once, I've decided to hold a little guessing game.
Using only the description above, and knowing that a) I'm not doing a murder case, and b) I'm trying to stay as close to Mario Cannon as possible, can you figure out who plays what role in the first trail?
Defendant: ...
attorney: ...
Prosecutor: ...
Judge: ...
(optional)
Crime: ...

Yeah, but I want to take this more to the Mario side than the AA side.
EDIT: and put more of a story in it.

That's an option, though I don't like VX that much. As I said, I don't realy know where I'm going with it.
Thought up some interesting story ideas though.
