Probably the final boss. Epic music, pretty hard, good length, everything was perfect with that battle.

Yeah, for me it was Exor because of the whole set up leading into it and it being a strange and interesting battle...and of course, i like the smithy song.

The ending
Spoiler:
double-boss
, and the pit of 100 boss, I both found to be quite enjoyable; beaten with entering levels of 86,86,88 (for pit) and 87,87,88 (for main end) (finished game at 89,88,90). At that level, and with dark-bowser, it was a piece of cake, though on the final boss I made a slight slip-up in the middle (selected wrong item and failed to heal) that cut me down to just bowser still alive, but a couple jam-into-life shrooms later + a mario party, and I was back in business XD...

Now I just need to find the secret boss ;)

Also...
Spoiler:
I wish it were possible to fight the top of Exor. Still a fun boss, if a bit easy with all the brobot spam I used...

Crystal king was also pretty intense (because he spawned a whole bunch of clones and it took me a few turns to realize they didn't do specials and I was wasting all my SP on hit-all attacks, plus I was cronically under-leveled and relying heavily on mario-parties to get me through bosses at the time... I didn't get more appropraitely leveled until the
Spoiler:
moon base double-boss: bowser didn't have anything to silence that annoying rocket attack tatanga had. brobot made Bowser??? so much easier by eliminating those annoying rockets
)

Yeah, double boss battles for the ending have always been a staple of Mario Rpg games. Pretty much all of them have had them, so of course all fan games we make have them.
